Currently #1 in the MaxPreps D4 rankings for the NCS, SPSV comes down the 80 corridor for a shot at #4 St. Joe’s. In addition to all that stuff, I’m pretty sure they’d love to knock off the Pilots after suffering three losses to them last season.

The Pilots ran undefeated through their soft league season, but are only 4-9 otherwise in a man-sized non-league slate.

The Bruins went 5-3 in the always tough TCAL-Rock league, and 11-5 otherwise.

As anyone who reads my posts knows, I bleed Blue and Orange, but if I was forced to make a line on this game, I’d be forced to make St Pats a 5-or6-pt fave.

Despite my “expert” analysis... Pilots lead 21-10 with less than 2 minutes left in the 1st.

A couple quick runout layups right after my last post, followed by a pair of Pilot corner 3-balls, and the half ends at 45-27, Pilots in front.

51-41 end of 3... Kiener sank 2 more 3’s that quarter for 7... Wonder what the Pilots record is... I remember watching JKidd get 7 atSt Liz...

Jackson sinks one from the elbow to make it 53-47 with 5:04 left.... Getting tight...

Missed FT, but Bruin eventually knocked down a 3. Aaaaaaand another. Tied at 60, Pilots have ball with 14.2 seconds left.

Ba makes a layup to tie it up, but Bruins make a pair at the line. 66-64 Bruins, 1:24 left

Kiener airballs on a play run for him... Bruins miss a pair, Pilot on the line...

Pilot FT missed, Bruins lose it back, but Pilots get a good shot and miss. Bruins ball, 2pt lead, 18 secs left

Pilots manage to get inside quick and draw a hack... Both free throws good. 68-66, 8.4 seconds left, Bruins ball

Quick foul, Bruin at line... first ft good... 2nd missed... Pilot Julian Vaughn’s fires from half court... GOOOOOOOOD!!!

Vaughn’s scores yet again to make it 77-71 before Bruins finally score... Pilots ball leading 77-73 with 1:19 left

Ba dribbles off 10 seconds, Vaughns sinks two FT’s... Bruins race down and score, time out. 81-78 with 14secs left
