Stanford vs Louisville thoughts

Going to the game tonight, Stanford is deep and very good. Louisville has talent but not sure if they can stop this Stanford team. Louisville’s bigs are physical and Brink is not so I expect her to be in foul trouble. Robinson is the best defender so I expect her to guard Jones. Both teams can score but Evens will need help so Smith and Van Lith need to not only defend but score! Hoping for a great game! Thoughts

If the referees allow heavy contact as they did last night (UConn vs. Baylor), the Cardinal is in very deep doo doo. Stanford has to hope for a wide open game, with its outside shooters going nuts, and reasonable officiating. If it's more of a half court, slugging match, well, lots of luck.

I like Stanford's depth ... but like all games at this point, easily could go either way.

I agree with Clay depth swings it toward Stanford. But like he said it can go either way! My concern for tonight is that the refs make too many calls and slow the game down too much.

What has happened to Prechtel she was the difference 9 For 9 from the field...the Tree will not lose if she does this two moretimes

Prechtel killed us! But Louisvilles bigs were nonexistent. Evens flopped every time she went to the paint.

Brink was brilliant, but Prechtel was the difference.

Huge props to Coach Vanderveer for finding the right piece for the moment.

It always helps when you can look down the bench and see a 6-5 kid who can shoot threes.
