I would put Jabari Brown ahead of Nelson, Bird and Cunnigham... didn't see his name listed on honorable mention list either, maybe just forgot about him?

Also, did not see Marquese Chriss mentioned, since this list seems to take NBA future into highest consideration, another that was maybe just forgotten?

Nice list, but I’m not sure they’re all NBA legends. Maybe NorCal legends that made it to the NBA, with some NBA legends mixed in.
I like to call them legends because not too many people from Norcal make it to the NBA. : )

Ryan Anderson career has been x10000000000000000000 that of Powe’s. Eddie House career is underrated

What? Bill Russell. Paul Silas. Joe Ellis, KC Jones, Fred LaCour, Jim Hadnot, Erwin Mueller, Ken Sears, Ralph Ogden, Dennis Awtrey, Jason Kidd, Tom Meschery, Darrell Imhoff, Phil Chenier, Charles Johnson, Phil Smith, Mike Farmer, Nick Vanos, Jim Luscotoff, Jeremy Lin, Rich Kelley, Bob Portman, Bill Cartwright, Eric Fernsten, Bob Feerick and on and on and on. "Not too many people from NorCal make it to the NBA." Absurd comment. Some sense of history would be helpful.

Let me rephrase that, what I meant was not too many have made it the NBA and had an establised role on teams that I imagined with the talent we've had in Norcal in the last decade or so...

I recognized most of those players on our site and will be adding a few more with your help.

I appreciate the history mentioned here because I’m on it a big way too, but the original statement asked about the 21st century......2000 to the present.

Kurt Rambis

Great list. I think its post 2000 era. I would rank Kidd one of the greatest regardless of era. Still the best HS player I've ever seen/played against.
i remember playing in a hoop it up (3 on 3) tournament in Oakland during the kidd era and he was there signing autographs . dude was like a rock star . wonder what ever happened to hoop it up do they still do that anymore?
