Phillip Tran is now eligible at Mitty. Does that change anything for the Monarchs with Sam Serra playing so well at QB?

Nothing to discuss re: Tran. Sam Serra is the starter & has played extremely well & until he doesn;t he is the team leader.

Question: Phillip Tran goes from Fremont (public) to Mitty (private WCAL) and gets cleared to play last week. We had a transfer come in (we are a public school in San Jose) this summer from St.Francis (private WCAL) and he is not cleared until October 9th, what particulars would make Tran's clearance come sooner than the kid we received from St.Francis? The article the Merc did ( http://blogs.mercurynews.com/hsspor...ing_wp_cron=1443060206.9564120769500732421875 ) simply said academic reasons and not a change of address. Just wondering if anyone had any insight as to why gets cleared sooner than the other.

Valid change of address. Not sure of any particulars. Probably should have been cleared sooner, but CCS has a lengthy process that started this year for all transfers
