After a long battle against Parkinson’s disease, Acalanes High School physical education teacher and coach, Chris Huber passed away on Jan. 21.
Chris Huber began playing basketball at Fort Bragg High School (Class of 1972) then played 2 years at College of the Redwoods (1972-74) then to Humboldt State (1974-76). Huber coached for more than 40 years which included some great El Cerrito teams that won two-NCS championships and one-Northern CA title.
More than that, Huber was great husband, father, friend, teacher and coach. Truly, a special caring human being.
