Nice to see CC bounce back after the concerns expressed on another thread
"Force" might be a stretch. Dickey is a force. Not sure about the entire unit.Small roster or not, it sounds like Valley Christian is still going to be a force.
I'll be more specific. Going into the year, I had VC as a Top 10 NorCal team and second in the CCS. When news of the smaller roster came out, I started to wonder if maybe they are third in the WCAL and make 5 or so in the section. Looking at the Wilcox game details, I feel better about my preseason take."Force" might be a stretch. Dickey is a force. Not sure about the entire unit.
You have to go back to 2002 to 2005 VC stretch of games to find anything resembling offense prowess. VC had decent talent back then and Machato was younger - more eager to prove himself. Two factors will dictate VC's 2021 season: Team depth and Machato's ability to break out above of his most recent 16 year offensive coaching track record.Next question is will the offensive prowess continue for the Warriors? That has been an issue on some of their past teams
Agreed. Assessments are more moving targets right now than they will be in a month or so.How good is Wilcox really going to be this year. It’s too early to give VC an accurate assessment for last night’s nights win. There is so much we don’t know.
