The WCAL has out-done itself this year. The eight-team circuit has announced that a grand total of 112 varsity players were all-leaguers in 2019. You read that correctly. At this rate, we can expect entire rosters to be all-league at some point in the future.

What, no JV players getting all-WCAL recognition? I feel bad for the 1 or 2 seniors in the league who didn’t get named.
Maybe they should make it a real honor and only name players that have a 3.2 GPA or higher.
I think we need a Rmbr 1st and 2nd team All WCAL .
Wow, way too many. Is this Powder puff where everybody gets a trophy? Should two at most for first team, second team recognition at a respective position. Everybody else honorable mention. Totally watered down..
This is the 2019 version of athletics, everybody gets a trophy or they will quit or switch teams. Hard work is no longer required or recognized.
I have such disinterest in the WCAL All League selections I have yet to view it. If it were up to me it'd be 1rst team O and 1rst team D with 11 players on each along with kicker and utility along with one MVP O & D. Same for 2nd team w/o MVP's. The picture has become so murky with MVP's at every position, multiple first team QB's, soph of year, junior of year and likely soon frosh of year due to VC's Dickey. Oh & almost forgot the endless list of "Honorable Mentions" .. simply too much...
Hmm, think I'll take a look at trimming it down to where maybe it should be... suggestions welcome
