WCAL top four varsity standings as of 4-13-25:

Serra, 7-2, 15-2
St. Francis, 7-2, 15-4
Valley Christian, 6-3, 12-4
St. Ignatius, 5-3, 8-5-2

MaxPresps ratings clusters Serra, SF and VC pretty close together. Serra is defenitely the team to beat this year. But their only two losses come to their league mates SF & VC with whom they traded wins.

Even though Maxpreps has VC ranked over SF, the Lancers was two wins against VC giving SF the lead over VC on the diamond.

Serra has the easiest sked down the stretch with Mitty having the best chance to upset the Padres late this month. SF vs. SI games will be important. Serra coach seems to be developing pitchers well.
