Oh, $#@+.. I just noticed that. The only event before that is the Alumni Game in November.Cheers, Irish don't have a home game until Jan 8th?

Why they can't just bring back the Irish Tournament is beyond me. There must be some kind of incentive for flying to out-of-state tournaments.
Looks like I won't be able to see Riordan's new scoreboards until Feb. 16th.

Riordan should make some noise with Stansberry, Smith, Norman, Galindo back from injury and soph James Chun. Bellarmine should also be very good as they return many starters from last season including Athens. SF is the favorite now that Much has transferred-again. Won't be surprised to hear of a new transfer on Mitty Way.SHC needs to market that gym better for sure, I agree Cheers....but maybe since SI and Riordan also have their annual tournaments it may be to hard to do. Maybe, next year? SHC should get alumni Franco Finn with a few Warriors to rally up the basketball season...sure to sell tickets and excite the SF base. Is it to early to talk basketball? Mitty and St. Francis probably the favorite...but SHC with the young team and Serra may have something to say for sure...maybe Riordan does too.
The big box gym would be better...

The winner of this summer's annual Skyline HS Hoops tournament was a team from China. They defeated Menlo-Atherton in the title game. Serra placed third and Lowell placed 2nd. Riordan lost in the Championship quarterfinals to Menlo-Atherton after defeating Hillsdale. The Crusaders defeated Half Moon Bay in the opening consolation round and lost in the consolation semi-finals to The Kings Academy.
Ah, the luxury of running your own tournament! Lol! I hope June Jordan is better than Oceana. There's been several tourneys in years past where Riordan was playing in the Chaminade tournament down in SoCal and they were paired with the likes of Artesia (James Harden) and Fairfax in the first round. Mission returns its whole team and SRV is the defending D1 State Champ. St. Mary's and Righetti typically field competitive teams...June Jordan in Crusader Classic? Oh my God. Say it aint so. They are at the bottom of the lower division in AAA. Three guesses who they are playing in first round. Been told Riordan has Mission is opposite bracket after last year and their whole team coming back. Didnt Mssion lose to eventual State Champs Drake in NorCal semi?
I thought Galindo was a senior last year. If not, could bode well for Crusaders as league looks pretty even this year (from what I can tell). Also look forward to seeing the upgraded Forum (though thought it was nice to begin with). Bring back the pasta bowls!!
SH has never had home preseason games since moving to new gym. Never understood this. One of the reason their gym has little if no home-court advantage. Would seem like a natural venue to hold a Christmas tourney. I am sure plenty of schools would love to play then go through Union Square afterwards.
