We wound up turning away teams last year, and I know some local teams we've contacted have said "Oh we're planning on coming" but haven't filled out the on-line application. We especially want the local teams that want to get in to be in, so don't wait.

Woodside Priory is listing its WCJ opener as being against Brea. Is that correct?

At this point, that's the matchup, but the WCJ Challenge, a one-day event with arranged games, is fluid. We have a long way to go ...

The Challenge, on Dec. 27, will be at Heritage in Brentwood. The 128-team Jamboree will be at the usual sites, though this year Miramonte has replaced Bentley.
