Well I think it's interesting because we have those kinds of discussions regarding schools like Folsom here in Nor Cal, and of course the Mater Deis and Boscos in SoCal.What was it, 78 transfers in4 years with 30 of those coming from out of state? Think of the howling around here if DLS or anybody else in NorCal approached those figures

I guess maybe a couple would. There’s a large contingent of football followers that don’t respect either of those local programs regardless of their win loss records and I doubt anyone feels any different about Folsom or DLS knowing that teams in Texas and So Cal abuse the system except maybe the ‘So Cal transfer system fans’ on this board who opine the constitution and other ridiculous platitudes.

Having said that there are plenty who love the level of football that that abuse brings but they know while they’re taking it in, it was all manipulated, kind of like a strip club, so in the end, not very satisfying.

It's quite relevant when one compares to the recruiting machines of norcal. If you limit your news and knowledge to one demographic you really aren't that knowledgeable. Plus why dont some of the norcal powers venture out and play Texas?
