Now that folks are getting back to school, just a reminder about the 20th anniversary of the Jamboree Dec. 27, 28 and 30 (no games on Sunday, Dec. 29).

How in the world does Tom get his these teams to come to Stockton....
Does he pay teams/schools to come to the event?

It takes a lot of work, a lot of ego-stroking, and staking out the territory first.

Once an event like this gets rolling, though, it becomes easier to keep it going because good teams want to play good teams in the middle of league play.
