I believe there are a substantial amount in the Bay Area. I am absolutely certain both Ray John Spears, sophomore of SHC and St. Ignatius freshman King-Jhsanni Wilhite will be heavily recruited and will be successful at the next level.

Obviously I know about those that have already signed. Don't mean to leave them out.

Saw the Riordan guys....Seck...Lani....Bryce

Mitty Guys....Bhandal...Burris....Mitchell...

Jesuit's Isa Silva...has scholarships from every school under the moon.

Saw Gavin Wilburn play....I believe he is a D1 player

I'm sure ive seen some others, but that's all I could think of off the top.

Well, if you're read any of my blatherings, errr, posts... You know who I'm gonna say first. :)

Yup, Aidan Mahaney, Cougar for Life no matter where he goes :)

Other than that, no order to this list of mine... I see tons and tons and tons of hoops, so this is a bit of a long list :)

Varick Lewis, Monterey Trail. (Freshman scoring-machine guard)

Most of the Sheldon roster (some may have to go to JC or prep academy first in order to get noticed away from the crowd of studs on that sick roster; might even be some more hidden on undefeated, barely challenged JV team!).

Isa Silva, Jesuit. (Gambles a little too much, maybe... But junior has lots of game!)

That "Unicorn" guy up in Napa...

Quinn Denker, Bellarmine (I dunno offhand if he's signed somewhere yet, if so, sorry bout dat)

Mor Seck, Riordan (raw, but soph has lots of potential, ya can't teach tall, esp. coupled with the athleticism he's got).

Demarshay Johnson, Salesian, 6'9" junior with bigtime hops.

Jalen Lewis, O'Dowd (Sick, sick talent! HE'S a FRESH-man...)

Marsalis Roberson, O'Dowd (Junior with mad skills)

Dublin's Devon Jackson and Anthony Roy are senior studs, no clue whether they've signed...

Dougherty Valley's quartet, the Beasleys and the Sevillas (Yeah, I know, Robby's already signed and the others are small... but very skilled, and the younger Beasley's a freshman)

Sione Lose, Capital Christian (6'4" junior)

Darrion Williams, Capital Christian (6-foot sophomore; heck, that team is YOUNG along with all the talent!)

The super-sophs on DLS, Bunch and Dargan (I love soph Clifford's game too, but not so sure college scouts will see past his body type, so maybe maybe not...)

I'm sure I'm leaving off others... But, yeah, I see a lotta guys :)

Kidman I hope that was a typo on the 6 foot williams from Capital. It’s more like 6-6

Imo a player has to do at least 1 thing elite to be a D1 kid. We label these kids as D1 pkayers and they fail to live up to the hype because they dont develop their game.

Its so hard to make it D1 in hoops. Incredibly challenging. I was just thinking of something. I've watched a lot of the teams in the SFL play in every sport.
I'm not sure there is 1 D1 basketball player in that league right now which is Oak Ridge, Folsom, GB, Rocklin, Whitney, DO. There are def a handful of D2 and JC players which is perfectly fine. I heard the small guard from Oak Ridge Tommy Ball is going to Idaho State but maybe a PWO? He had a great season but I think he's more a D2 guy personally. In any event here is a league that sends tons of kids D1 in football and baseball. Baseball is downright silly. Most of these teams have 1/2 of there kids in the starting lineups going D1.

D1 kids today usually have great length and can play 2-3 positions well. Love those 6-5-6-8 kids that can extend floor. Bigs that can't face up are almost obsolete
Or you are a special PG in that 6-2-6-4 mold like a silva.

Gavin Wilburn to inconsistent don't see him D1, but a good solid player. I see him going to Stanislaus state where Weston Ranch coach send most of his players. Or sent to out of state JC to improve and then hopefully get picked up by D1 school.

I wish the parents would go watch a few D1 games to see what it takes. The guards are GROWN MEN and you must be able to stay in front of men.
My thoughts exactly. Too many people throw out D1 like its easy and there are 10 scholarships per team. D1 players standout and make HS look easy. Boys hs ball vs Mens college are worlds apart

i watched the baylor vs texas tech game last night... man them guards were relentless to to cup even with elite defenders.... you heard the commentator saying that tech super freshman did not play the last 6 minutes because he could not get by anyone... it is a whole nother level now a days and i played there!!

Aidan Mahaney, Campolindo. The best pure shooter I have seen all year. If he get's his shoulder squared up, he's damn near automatic and works really hard on the defensive end.

Jalen Lewis, Bishop O'Dowd. Freshman with size (6'9), strength and very athletic, nice touch from 15 feet and is a killer down low. NBA type of player, I think he's further along at this stage than Rabb.

Anthony Roy, Dublin. Size, super athletic, very nice touch at the free throw line and 3 point line. He's a talented prospect & someone is going to get a real nice player.

Marsalis Roberson, Bishop O'Dowd. Not sure there is a thing he can't do, very talent, plays smart and will be a nice college player.

Ryan Beasley, Dougherty Valley. Freshman with incredible skills, fastest first step I have seen in a very long time. Nice mid-range and 3 point shooter. Needs to grow like Robby and put on some more weight and muscle but the sky is the limit for this young man.

Chris Bunch, De La Salle. Might be the most talented player on this page with a huge upside. Plays with an edge / anger and I mean that in a good way. Leaper, shooter, shot blocker, rebounder and nice handles.

Jeremiah Dargan, De La Salle. Total team player, very unselfish but solid on both ends. Rebounder, nice inside game, great touch from the outside, in great shape and is the glue that holds this team together. He might be the steal of this page.

Very well written. You know your stuff. I like Bunch as well. He has huge upside.

So what? There are 13 scholarships per team.

think he meant in any given year there are only 2-4 available scholarships. Bottom line is it’s hard going d1. I’ve always said the best test is to see how effortless it is for the kid to score, rebound, block shots, steals. If it looks like he’s playing against jr high kids he’s probably special. The gap is usually so wide it’s glaring.
