Yuba City outlasted Central Catholic 9-8 for the SJS Division III title in a game that saw the Honkers come back from a 6-1 deficit and win on a walk off hit by pitch in the bottom of the ninth.

The Raiders led 6-1 in the bottom of the sixth before Yuba City scored five runs to even the score. Central Catholic took the lead in the ninth when AJ Miligi scored on a wild pitch. Then, Yuba City scored on a well placed bunt with the bases loaded when Central Catholic couldn't get an out anywhere and then Max Guth was hit by a pitch to end the game.

It was a good pitching matchup with Central Catholic's Kayden McHenry (5.2 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 K) and Yuba City's Brandon Pelechowicz (5.1 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 11 K).

Looked like it grazed his arm. No attempt to get out of the way. Great comeback by the Honkers!
