Pinole Valley is on the edge of sneaking back into this thing,,, 47-35 Lodi, but I think PV has got some momentum going.

PV gets within 7, but Lodi stops the bleeding with an old-fshioned 3-point play.

PV hits a 3, back with 7 again, they get a stop, foull…

Jalin Reed sinks a pair. 50-45, 1:06 left 3rd.

Noah Rivera fouled, hits 1 of 2…. 51-45.

(btw, to the orig. poster, hope you don’t mind my hijacking your thread)

Matthew Shinn hits a 3 for Lodi…. 54-47.

Guiseppe Guidi hits a driving layup for Lodi to close the quarter. 56-47.

Reed scores inside for PV…. 56-49.

Foul, Stefan Wiese hits 1 of 2 for Lodi. 57-49…. then a moving screen on PV.

Pretty fast break by Lodi, but Reed scores for PV, fouled…. FT is good. 59-52.

Noah Rivera fouled on a try…. FT’s split. 60-52, 4:40 left.

3’s traded, 63-55, 3:30 left.

Waugh fouled, bonus…. FT’s split. 63-56 now, time out taken.

Guidi finds a wide-open lane, scores…. 65-56.

Nealy fouled, FT’s missed.

Drew Tetz fouled, hits the first for Lodi, misses, but Lodi rebounds… another foul.

Missed a couple plays…. but it’s 67-59 now. 2:08 left.

Nice backcut for a score by Lodi, 69-59.

Waugh fouled, a couple charity tosses for PV. Makes 1. 69-60.

Backcut by Sean Tetz, easy score…. PV answers. 71-62…. STEAL! Nealy goes all the way for a score,,, 72-63, but way too little time left, they have to hack and hope…. Not gonna work.

Final score: 74-67. What looked like a blowout early became a pretty good game.

Stagg leads 3-2 early, with their freshman PG Darnell Holmes providing the 3-ball.

Alavarez with a 3…. No players numbers on the program for Alvarez, I’ll try to hear the announcer. 5-3 Alvarez, 3:12 left 1st.

Steal by Thomas Vega of Stagg, he’s fouled on the layup try but misses both.

Alvarez #4 scores…. 7-3.

2:10 left, Stagg turnover.

Stagg gets it back, La’Bron White fouled, FT’s split. 7-4.

Alvarez #25 hits a 3…. steal, #4 Eric Amalier scores…. I think that’s what the annuncer said…. anyway, it’s 12-4 in a rather unpretty game. 11.7 seconds left for Stagg to get something positive going…

Well, nope. 12-4 Alvarez after 1 q.

Nice pass to White for a Stagg bucket… 12-6. Steal, Alexander Hinajosa fouled. FT’s split. 12-7.

Alvarez #10 fouled, FT’s split. 13-7.

5:45 left in the half…

Tius MItchell scores on the baseline play, fouled, hits FT. 13-10.

#24 of Alvarez with a putback score…. 15-10.

and he scores again on a fadeaway. 17-10.

4:23 left.

Corner 3 for #10 of Alvarez.. King, I think I heard. 20-10.

Hinajosa finds the bank open for Stagg, 20-12.

Long pass to KIng for Alvarez…. 22-12.

Steal, Oliveras scores for Alvarez…. 24-12.

Didn’t see, but Stagg scored…. 24-14.

2:34 left in the half.

Mitchell with a score for Stagg, but Alvarez scored right back…. twice. 29-16. 1:45 left in the half.

MItchell fouled on the way up for Stagg…. FT’s split. Nice rebound of that miss by Mitchell, scores…. 29-19.

#0 of Alvarez gets fancy with a fake pass and layup…. 31-19.

and that’s the half.

4:06 left 3rd…. 39-25 Alvarez. Make that 41-25 after another turnover…

Just when ya think a game has gotten away, Stagg gets within 10…. but a turnover, score, and foul…. FT is good, 57-44. 3:44 left.
