Arcata Wins HDN Big 5 Title Again

Arcata High School has clinched at least a share of the HDN Big 5 title for the 6th time in 7 years. Arcata beat Mckinleyville at Mck's house last night. With a win in their final league game Friday night against Eureka High, Arcata can claim the title outright. Congratulations to the boys, first year head coach Ryan Besio, and long time assistant Jason Hodges. Way to keep up the tradition. With any justice from the seeding committee Arcata will have earned at least 1 home game (hopefully two) in the upcoming NCS Div 1V playoffs.

Correction: Arcata won the title outright with last nights win. Win or lose Friday night will make no difference as far as league standings go. Arcata is first and Eureka 5th.
