Big changes coming to the MLB draft

Due to the delay in the season starting among other concerns, there will be big changes to the 2020 draft. Could create a roster logjam in the college ranks.

I have a feeling this will affect the JUCO game more than the College game. Guys who don't get drafted might go JUCO because then they can re-enter the draft the next year. They go to college and they are forced to wait at least another 3 years.

It's interesting and I've already read articles that say Scott Boras and other agents are ticked off about this move.

It will affect both, the juniors that would of been drafted in the lower rounds will stay in school and play their senior year. Teams count on those guys leaving to make room for incoming freshman or juco players that they plan on giving scholarships to. Most top teams over recruit so the JC game will get a influx of top players.
