How does 2-A shake out at the NorCal regional level? Let’s say Manteca and Campolindo win their respective games, do they face each other? Or do they face the winner of SI/BCP?
Delete Wilcox and probably insert the winner of SI vs BCP. If Manteca does get to 2AA and Campo is in 2A, they can't face each other.

State championship game and frankly national champ will be decided this weekend in Pasadena. I think it is nationally televised for those that care.

Nobody wants to see Folsom beat this team again.

DLS is done.
Only seems right they play again given last year when DLS beat them soundly and then lost in the regionals with a missed 2 pt conversion and this year lost on a last minute. These are two teams that should play each other again. That stadium will be sold out!

@MTsince2004 , thx for posting.
I could see Sierra canyon beating Inglewood in south and San Ramon over Campo in North. Otherwise those all seem fairly plausible . And outside of the open I think the north will do good again, which I know is a little misleading.

DLS finally has their big defensive lineman back after being out all season and he made an immediate impact in his first game. I think that one player will greatly assist the DLS defense.

Reading through this really kind of highlights how deluded down the SoCal playoff bracket gets because all the top team cannibalize each other in one bracket. I guess it keeps it competitive for bowl games but it gets kind of ridiculous calling teams state champs.

100%. It’s pretty bad.

Bowl game winners is what they are

If you're talking about Harvard commit D Thompson believe he went out in 2nd half of Pitt game last week with a reaggravation of his knee injury. Hopefully it's not too serious with the extra week being helpful for his recovery.

He is Talking about Chase Toafunu (Not sure that is spelled right)…. He has been out all season and came back for the PITT game…. He is the leader of the Defense and has been sorely missed all year….

Oh yeah. That was good to see Tofaeono back. When I spoke with him early in the season he wasn't optimistic he would heal by end of this football season. He said the best he could hope for was to be ready for Rugby Season later in the school year. To see him back was good.

It would be funny if the rest of the section voters forced DLS and Pitt to play each other in the regional as a semi-protest against their setup.

I'm thinking Grant of Sac, Marin Catholic or El Cerrito winner vs Campo. CalHi gives the edge to Grant right now. Of course there are still section titles to win first.

Odd pairing in D4AA matching up 2 Sac Joaquin Section schools. I would thin Hollister CC3 vs Vanden SJ4 in D4AA and Sonora SJS D5 and San Marin NCS D5 in D4A would make more sense.

It is just slotting teams based on preceived strength. So the projection has this year's Bellarmine team has lower than last year's Wilcox (or that this year has more quality teams at the top)
