Looks like my $35 yearly subscription is going to payoff once again! So long as the stream works
I’ve been doing the yearly subscription for at least 4-5 years now, as I started out doing the monthly thing then cancelling at seasons end.
But I eventually found it much more worthwhile just to do the yearly. Historically, the regular season games have been more spotty and unreliable as it’s dependent upon the individual schools that host the stream.
However the playoff streams were almost always much better and usually much more consistent as they were hosted by the CIF.
To me, the $35 was worth it just for all the postseason games. Individual tickets are something like $12, which adds up if you attend several rounds of the playoffs. Even then, I like to follow other games while I attend another OR at least to have the ability to watch later ON DEMAND.
Any regular season games I can get are just an added bonus. And usually I get to see a fair amount.
This was the first postseason I can remember where a few games were not working. The DLS-Folsom game being the worst one.
It was nice being able to count on the NBCBA feed via DirecTV in order to catch the State games just in case. But I’m glad I have the ability to stream it via NFHS.
