CN vs Pinewood.... score updates during the game

As an individual, yes, out of her control and unfortunate for sure. As a basketball team, MM won, so Kelly had his team ready to play with or without a star player. Nothing to do with fate. They will either be ready for the next challenge (again with or without her) or they wont be, both as a team. Whether they win or lose, neither coach nor player will say "well it was fate". That is the point.

As I said in my first response, this is just something we wont agree on.

I think she still played, just not as much or as well, but was a factor. Just as the good coaching was and will continue to be a factor. It's hard to guess what different coaches will think in terms of the reasons they give for a win or loss.

I think it's obvious MM is better with Elle Louie. And has a better chance to win with her playing. Does her injury completely end their chances to win, of course not. Was her injury planned, expected, or something within any human control? Of course not. Destiny, aka outcomes, are not 100% in human control.

If it was Kobe Bryant would have been allowed to have the CP3 deal, as it was legally put together. And with that deal most likely Kobe never has to carry a team almost single handily by himself into the team's last playoff appearance blowing his achilles out in the process.

Was the trade illegal? No, however it was strangely vetoed in what was unprecedented in the NBA history up to that point.

Did an aging Kobe not deserve to have quality help from an above average or top NBA point guard? While a young Lebron James is allowed to get the services of Dwayne Wade, Ray Allen, Chris Bosch, Love, Irving, and others? Has the NBA ever been able to justify allowing one trade to be permitted over the other? Did Kobe not prepare himself or work harder than anyone else up to that point? But whether he worked hard or not, planned for it or not Destiny had plans of its own. He wasn't allowed help and subsequently got injured and came up short as a result. That doesn't make others better or more deserving than he is. Or mean he didn't work hard enough. Regardless of his human efforts, Destiny stepped in to have the final say, ultimately. If it was all in Kobe's control no doubt he would still be playing today. He would have allowed the CP3 deal and would have subsequently won 3 of the next 4 championships. And he would have not been cut off from legit help and hated on by the league (and their Lebron James/ NBA marketing agenda) and almost forced to retire because of his championship or bust standards.

Your right about one thing. We probably will not come to an agreement unless Destiny steps in to have the final last word. Smile. LOL.......... Where is she when I need her most? LOL........ Good chatting. Have a great day !
