Liberty is 2-0 with two easy wins, but tbh the Liberty JV’s could probably beat the teams their varsity has slapped around…
The Cougs are 5-2 now, with their losses being to Vanden and a 5-0 Monterey Trail squad. Most important win: an OT thriller over Montgomery at their place.
Basically, I mean that Liberty, while athetic and visually impressive, is untested thus far while the Cougs have fought some wars.
