Rookie DaRon Bland (Sacramento State/Fresno State) has a lot of local connections between high school and college and has emerged as a valuable player in the secondary for the Cowboys this season.

IDC that he played his final collegiate season at Fresno State. He’s much more of a Sac State Hornet. He cut his teeth with that program and played 3 of his 4 seasons for SAC. They developed him.
