Streak I'm pretty sure Matt Spigelman should be listed with Cal Poly instead of Davis. Also, much better than usual Nor Cal recruiting for SJSU this year.

Thanks Bubba3000.

On San Jose State, I think they have recruited the region well in recent years. They have signed at least 5 NorCal guys in each of the four years.

I disagree, I think Cal and sjsu have failed miserably recruiting Nor Cal over the years

San Jose State is recruiting the area well in recent years. Just haven't brought in the right guys. Combination of bad evals or just not closing on the right guys. Cal has really turned its back on local guys under Sonny Dykes.

Stanford has picked up two good walk-ons in Dublin's Matthew Gutwald and Palma's Jack Richardson.

The three big decisions today went as follows:

Beau Bisharat to Colorado
Devin Asiasi to Michigan
Boss Tagaloa to UCLA

The way Harbaugh likes utilizing his TE's I'm seeing Asiasi's future to play on that side of the ball.

SJSU has been a lot more active in the Bay Area since McIntyre was here. The two Antelope kids are great pick ups. One reason they might not be perceived as doing well is their East Bay recruiters have changed quite a bit recently. Old ST coach Fred Gudici was let go (big mistake!) last year and this years guy DL coach James Jones left to take DC job at N. Colorado this last month. Not a lot of continuity there in local recruiters.

An interesting fun fact I heard about Stanford preferred walk ons today. Since Harbaugh there have been 30, 15 earned scholarships, 5 made the NFL

Where did you find that fun fact? Interesting (for me) if it can be documented.
Thanks.....

Damon Wiley will walk-on for football at Cal and also play Rugby at the school

Heard it in a conversation. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 walk ons at one time on NFL rosters from Stanford. Griff Whalen, David Perry and Kyle Olugebode. If your looking for official documentation I'm sure you can use the ole' goggle machine. If you find the other two I'm interested in knowing who they are. Thanks....

I laughed when I read Asiasi is 4 star prospect. Heck he's closer to 6 stars than 4. Who are the idiots who assign these? He will absolutely dominate from day 1.

LL33 - did you have a chance to watch Asiasi this year? Just curious how much he played above competition.

Top TE in the nation. I would take him over that kid from IMG that is rated higher than Devin. Not even close. Devin is a rare type of talent.

He dismantled the #1 team in the Nation on both sides of the ball, I think he is pretty good

Exactly guys. One of the best players I've seen in my life at the HS level. Speed, power, size, ability, motor,.... You name it. He's such a good athlete he could play D1 hoops if he wanted too as well.

Yeah, just messing around LL33......would have been fun to watch him and Tagaloa stick together.

Ryan Whalen (no relation to Griff) also

Not Stanford, but how about, Antonio Brown, clay Matthews,Jordy Nelson, Stephen Goskowski, and of course we all know JJ WATT all being walk ons... I mean, one could say those guys are top 10 players in the NFL if they really wanted to argue

Jeffrey is a great ATH pickup......

Cal Poly lists Jeffrey as 6'2" 225 and Rivals lists him as 6' 180. Any idea who's closer to his actual height and weight? I'm not able to find much info about him on recruiting sites. I hear he's a real good football player.

Bubba, he is the latter --- not even close to 225 unless his momma has been cooking real good lately! He could be a great WR, speed isn't great, like 4.7, but there are SEC guys with same 40 -- Jarvis Landry (SEC) with Dolphins was a 2nd rounder and timed at 4.77....more goes into it, balance, body control, hands, traffic control, etc. which Jeffrey will offer.
