Jacob Bandes 6-foot-3, 305 pounds DT Pittsburg (2019)

The Washington commit is a load that commands multiple blockers. He has very good strength with the quickness to blow up a crease. Bandes is No. 7 in the 2019 class.

De’jon Benton 6-foot-3, 275 pounds DT Pittsburg (2019)

The other part of the Pirates’ tackle tandem is very quick off the ball, plays with a good motor and seems to hunt tackles for loss. Washington State, Arizona, Fresno State and San Jose State were listed in his Top 4 released this summer.

Justin Boyd 5-foot-10, 160 pounds WR Pittsburg (2019)

After playing quarterback last season, Boyd has moved out to wide receiver. He can make plays in traffic and plays bigger than his 5-foot-10 listing.

Willie Harts III 6-foot-1, 175 pounds ATH Pittsburg (2019)

Harts has a nose for big plays as seen with a long catch and run for a touchdown against St. Mary’s-Stockton. He also had a long interception return to flip the field. The 3-star prospect is ranked No. 17.

Laiatu Latu 6-foot-5, 242 pounds OLB/DE Jesuit (2019)

His best impact comes defensively with his hand on the ground as a strong run defender. He has the athleticism to make plays as a receiver in space. Latu is No. 6 in the last 2019 rankings and has a Top 8 of Alabama, Georgia, Stanford, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Washington and Cal.

Jake Woods 6-foot-4, 195 pounds WR Cardinal Newman (2019)

With a projectable frame, Woods remains under the radar in his recruitment. He is physical, finds the ball really well in-air and gets upfield well on his routes. Woods was No. 35 in the last rankings, but could see a bump in the midseason edition.

Shamir Bey 6-foot-3, 190 pounds QB Mitty (2020)

Bey showed strong command of Mitty’s offense in the opener. He is an accurate thrower who can make plays outside the pocket. Bey is an elusive runner when he keeps it. He is No. 15 in the junior class.

Deshawn Lynch 6-foot-3, 265 pounds DE Folsom (2020)

Don’t lose Lynch in the mix of talent at Folsom, which is hard to do with his physical size. He is good against the run setting the edge with the speed to chase down plays away from him. Lynch is ranked No. 7 in the class.

Jamar Marshall 6-foot-1, 175 pounds WR St. Mary’s-Stockton (2020)

In a tough opener for the Rams, Marshall’s speed was one of the bright spots. Get him on the move with some space and Marshall turns a short throw into a big play. He is also a return threat.

Daniyel Ngata 5-foot-9, 190 pounds RB Folsom (2020)

Ranked No. 61 in the newest Rivals250, Ngata is strongly built but has elusiveness in his running style. He finishes runs well and is a receiving threat who can split out.
