Since EASTBAY, he has assisted to 3 sweet sixteen appearances (Nevada/Arkansas) under Musselman. He has plenty of good Nor/SoCal players to build around. I like him even though he is a DLS alumni. We talked last year in Fayetteville about BJ Davis and MC. He comes from a basketball family and is ripe for success. Good Luck Coach go Yotes!!
Interesting choice to take that job. Basically the lead assistant at a top 10 program making way more money.
It’s a great stepping stone. Gotta be a head guy and call the shots. SB is also damn near a d1 program. Look at there roster. Great facilities and a few good years and he will be in WCC or mtn west. Great family.
SB hasnt even won a D2 championship. only been to the final 4 twice and that is 'damn near d1' for you? damn son you gotta get out of california once in a while. them boys aint close to D1.
Your logic is beyond flawed. How many teams have been to the final four? There lineup year in and out is made up of d1 transfers.
Do some research. Watch them play. 31-4 last year with 7-8 former d1 players. Not arguing with dumb anyway.

those transfers are there for a reason larry. i know the team quite well. CCAA is not even close to D1. but go off larry
Like maybe Coach Muss taking an NBA job? It appears to be a step back, but he’s in a much better position than at CS-Hayward - er East Bay, and he’s gotten a lot more experience at Nevada & Arkansas.
