UC Davis will host the Fifth Annual Jim Les Shooting and Skills Academy on June 13 and 14, 2016 from 5-730pm. The Academy will be held in the Pavilion on the campus of UC Davis.
Jim Les, former NBA 3-point specialist and 2014-15 Big West Coach of the Year, highlights this camp as he provides vital information to help you improve as a jump shooter. Along with shot technique and teaching points, you will be exposed to advanced drill work to improve your overall game. The 2014-15 UC Davis Men’s Basketball team (25-7) won the Big West Championship (14-2) and set multiple school records. In addition, UC Davis ranked nationally in many statistical categories during the 2014-15 season including: No. 1 in three-point percentage and No. 4 in field goal percentage. UC Davis was the only Division I team to hold top-5 rankings in both categories. That three-point percentage marks the highest since Indiana (.454) in 1994.
