Anyone seen Leland this year? Doing some research this morning and he is a 6-foot-2 JR averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds.

In an article from the San Jose Mercury News last week, Leland head coach Steve Seandel called him one of the best players in their area.

Leland is 16-4 overall and 9-1 in league play.

I have seen this kid play aau ball and he held his own against top tier talent. The kid can play. He is very physical, can shoot and defend. He needs to work on his ball handling, but other than that I would have to agree with him being ONE of the top players in the CCS.

Best way to describe Kelbert is a work horse with an unstoppable motor. He will go through a brick wall to chase down rebounds and is an extremely fundamentally sound and smart player. He needs to expand his range and handles to take his game to the next level but he works well within his means and does not attempt plays that he can't make.
