Palma and Hollister spit 2 games and are tied on Top of MBAL Gab

Yes. Only one run scored against them so far and they've scored 64. The are favored over a very good San Benito in their league. Salinas defeated St Francis earlier. Palma should be a top 5 team in CCS. They have some very good underclass as well. Pitching is deep with 2 pitchers with 2 shutouts and another with one so far.

They also have a 6'-5" soph pitcher that is still on the basketball team in the Norcals that hasn't joined the team yet (although he might not make a big impact this year due to the pitching depth and joining the team later in the season. His brother is a 4 year starter at St Mary's College and he will probably be a D1 pitcher as well. Gettng interest in the travel leagues and he may be further along in many ways than his brother at his age. Next season Palma should have really good pitching. Looking like the school is building a string program and they have plenty of underclass hitters.

Palma's Eziah Cortez tosses Palma's sixth straight shutout in a 5-0 win over Christopher. He also had two hits
Palma has won 7 straight games with 69 runs for and only one scored against. 3 Palma pitchers have 2 shutouts each.

Palma has 8-0 and 5-0 wins over Christopher who lost earlier in season 5-2 to top 20 ranked Los Gatos.

Palma will play in the Boras North Classic and should have some games that will measure how good they are.

Sam Stoutenborough pitches Palma to an 8-1 win over Gilroy. Danny Carnazzo has three hits while Anthony Desantis drives in three runs.
Stoutenborough,a junior, is now 4-0 and only 2 earned runs in 4 games.

Palma is 8-0 now with 78 runs scored and only 2 runs scored against. They should be ranked ahead of San Benito who won close games over Gilroy, and Palma is defending MBL champs. They split 4 games last season but Palma has better depth in pitching and hitting.

They actually had 6 shutouts in a row (split between 3 starting pitchers with 2 each) and that streak ended yesterday with 8-1 win over a decent Gilroy. They have only 2 runs scored against them in 8 games so far. The MBL Gab is an above average league with San Benito, Salinas, Monterey and even Christopher. I think Palma should have played a couple stronger programs earlier, but they will face some very strong teams outside of their league in April at the Boras North Classic.

Palma Chieftains baseball team won Friday's away non-conference game against Gilroy by a score of 7-1. Palma's Jackson Meuter tosses a one-hitter.

After today's 7-1 win over Gilroy. Palma is now 9-0 RF 84 RA 3 - 6 shutouts in first 9 games and only 3 earned runs against. No teams has scored more than 1 run in first 9 games to start the season.

Palma obviously off to a great start. Would agree that it would have been nice to see them play a tougher non league schedule. Not sure I would consider Gilroy "decent" at 0-7. Other non league opponents are all average at best. Never the less- they have put up impressive totals and hopefully will show well in the Boras Classic.

Palma's Jackson Meuter pitches 3rd shutout of season with 10-0 win over Monte Vista Christian in five innings. Palma now has 7 shutouts in first 10 games of season. RF 94 RA 3 with only 1 earned run in season so far for 10-0 season start.

11-0 Palma shuts out Monterey 6-0 for 11th consecutive win win to start the season and 8th shoutout of the season.
Palma is 11-0 with RF 100 RA 3 only 1 earned run and 8 shutouts to start the season.

Palma's junior pitcher Sam Stoutenborough (verbal Cal) tosses six shutout innings and adds two hits in Palma's 6-0 win over Monterey, improving to 11-0. He's 5-0 for the season and only 1 earned run in first game of the season.

True. This week they play 4 games including 2 aganist San Benito (1 D1 pitching prospect) and Monterey (one D1 prospect). San Benito's loss against Valley Christian was in their first game of season and believe VCs third. I think Palma is a top 5 CCS and arguably a top 3. Will be tough to tell how good they are until Boras Classic. I think WCAL is a little down this season.

Palma baseball remains undefeated defeating Monte Vista Christian 12-3 and is now 12-0 in the season with 112 RF and 6 RA in 12 games.

Palma's Eziah Cortez pitches another shutout (3rd this year) in Palma's 10-0 win over Monterey. Danny Carnazzo, Victor Penera and Tanner Okamura all have two hits

Palma baseball remains undefeated defeating Monterey 10-0 and is now 13-0 in the season with 122 RF and 6 RA in 13 games.and 9 shutouts for the season

Hollister baseball takes first game of series 14-6 over Palma after quick start and big 7 run inning in top of the second.

after losing by a football score, Palma travels to Hollister to defeat San Benito 3-2. Stoutenborough pitches a complete game.

Both tied on top of the MBALGab
