Out of curiosity, how are these players selected? Is it nomination from their coaches?

Yes, I would figure at least another girl or two from SHC girls should have made that dinner:)...Just wondering if you know or heard any rumblings about the next freshman class at SHC boys or girls basketball...anyone that stands out or are expecting big things from more than your average frosh? Thank you.

I haven't heard much. I knew of one girl who would have been an impact freshman there, but she chose Riordan. I think that is a team to keep an eye on next season in the WCAL. They will be tough and they're following the boy's lead and starting to pick up international players. If they can make that work, they will begin to give Mitty a run for their money, IMO. SHC, outside of their starting 5, will be very green. They held to a pretty tight 7-8 player rotation last year so the end of the bench didn't get many minutes. And, as you know, they lost some leadership. For their sake, they will need some impact players coming in. Mitty will reign supreme again but I can see Riordan/SI/SF battling it out for 2nd-4th. Sadly, I'm not sure SHC can compete without a bench. Maybe I'm wrong (wouldn't be the first time) but they either need their younger girls to improve this summer or have some impact freshman/transfers.

This is a long winded response regarding girls basketball, on the Football forum :) , but the original post does cover multiple sports. lol

This was quite nice, I must say it is an interesting tradition with the handing out of diplomas. I actually love reading, especially something interesting like that source, it inspires me to do something new and I have to say that since I started reading various works like the Pit and the Pendulum, it has made me a much more interesting personality.
