Mitty 7, Valley Christian-San Jose 7 (9 innings)

Mitty scored the first four run, but Valley Christian carried a 6-5 lead into the bottom of the seventh. After a Mitty run, both teams scored a run in the eighth inning. It was Patrick Wicklander vs. Haydn King on the mound. Joe Diatte and Anthony Flores each had two hits for the Warriors while Nick Yorke and JP Caldwell each had three hits for the Monarchs.

Serra 4, St. Francis-Mountain View 2

Serra scored all of its runs in the bottom of the first inning to pick up the league opening win. Nick Garcia had two RBI and Jack Peterson had two hit for the Padres. Mitchell Scott got the start for Serra and threw five innings for the win. Josh Lauck went 3-for-4 for the Lancers, who started Brandon Oliver.

Bellarmine 3, Sacred Heart Cathedral 1

A three run fourth inning was the difference for the Bells, which got six innings of four hit ball from senior Lane Maxwell. Laurence Palmer and Wes Harper had two hits apiece for the Bells, which just have a loss to No. 1 overall De La Salle. Eric Casillas threw three shutout innings in getting the start for SHC.

St. Ignatius 8, Riordan 2

St. Ignatius scored the first eight runs, including five runs in the sixth inning, before Riordan added a pair of runs in the seventh. Max Baker had a double, walk and two runs scored while Andrew Polk threw a complete game, three hitter with four strikeouts.
