They usually play @ USF, although recently they have played @ Cow Palace and Cal.Does anyone know the venue for the Bruce Mahoney basketball games? Word on the street is usf or kezar?
University is in NCS though they are in SF. Alec Blair 6-7 may be the newcomer at DLS.I heard somewhere that DLS has an incoming stud freshman... Don't know his name, nor just how much of a stud he is...
Isn't University in CCS?
Great post by the Armchair GOAT...
Good job but I think you might have overlooked Sheldon . I know it was fall and summer but After a sudden death overtime loss to Campo at St Mary’s , Sheldon came back next week and won St Mary’s camp beating Modesto Christian 52-20 . Beat University and DLS in San Fran , won 32 team Modesto Christian Tourney and won Capital Christian tourney and about 30 straight games . Beat almost every team on that list some multiple times. But underdog is always nice.No particular order

Don’t worry about it they always overlook the Sacramento Teams Grants going to be pretty strong this year too, they open up against Riordan so (Grant) will wait to do they’re talking on the courtGood job but I think you might have overlooked Sheldon . Also there schedule is toughest in NorCal so record might not say it but they will be ready. Open at Corona Centennial . Also have Fairfax, Crean Lutheran @ Bosco, , GRIDLEY tourney, Tark in Vegas, Damien Tourney, Salesian@ Capital and Adidas showcase at Sheldon .

They lose a lot due to graduation and transfers. All-WCAL PG King Jhsanni Wilhite is the only returning starter, but should have lots of help with young but unproven players moving up the ranks. Looks like they also have some transfers to the school/team as well. Grant will be a great test for them to see where they're at.is riordan still a thing? or nah?

Modesto Christian is #6 and Sheldon (Sacramento) is #20CalHiSports started Campolindo at #4 in CA preseason. The next norcal team is Salesian at #18.
Bishop O'Dowd, Riordan, Folsom, Lincoln-Stockton, Moreau and Valley Christian are the NorCal bubble teams.Modesto Christian is #6 and Sheldon (Sacramento) is #20
Los Altos is Southern CalMaxPreps Preseason State Top 25 has the NorCal's here:

Great line-ups! I'm going to head to Modesto to catch the DLS vs Sheldon scrimmage and try to stay through the big card games later on. Campolindo vs MC is a great match-up.Campo, Modesto Christian, DLS, and Sheldon are among the teams playing tomorrow in an all-day multi-team scrimmage at Modesto Christian tomorrow.

Cal-Hi Sports NorCal Teams in the CA Preseason Top 40:Modesto Christian is #6 and Sheldon (Sacramento) is #20
We'll find out quick. Squad mixed with an all-league starter, returning varsity kids, players up from JVs/transfers and a promising freshman. Crusader JV and Frosh A's finished at the top the past 2 seasons. They lose a lot due to graduation and transfers. All-WCAL PG King Jhsanni Wilhite is the only returning starter, but should have lots of help with young but unproven players moving up the ranks. Looks like they also have some transfers to the school/team as well. Grant will be a great test for them to see where they're at.
Watched Blair at the Modesto Chr. scrimmages just now…. Very impressive!University is in NCS though they are in SF. Alec Blair 6-7 may be the newcomer at DLS.
What teams / players stood out? That scrimmage was loaded with great teams.Watched Blair at the Modesto Chr. scrimmages just now…. Very impressive!
Rosenborough is the real deal. He and Zion Sensley were the top NorCal freshmen last season. I understood he had some injuries last year so really looking forward to seeing him at the Gridley Invitational.I thought Campo and Modesto Christian looked like the best teams (no surprise given their rankings).
btw, Campo played without Aidan Mahaney and Matt Radell, yet still looked incredible. Dunno anything about Radell's situation, but Aidan was there to cheerlead as Coach Dyer worked on other things, like rotation, maybe even who makes Varsity and who goes JV.
MC looked super-athletic as always, even giving the Cougs trouble.
One individual besides DLS's Blair that stuck out was sophomore Ben Roseborough of Sacramento. He looks like D1 material to me, especially considering how young he is. Big, athletic, under-control, great hands and can shoot the rock.
Ben and Zion are both very good, but neither are even really close to Jamari Phillips at MC.Rosenborough is the real deal. He and Zion Sensley were the top NorCal freshmen last season. I understood he had some injuries last year so really looking forward to seeing him at the Gridley Invitational.
Appears to be another strong Norcal freshman class that will be playing varsity. Another soph to note, is Valley Christian's 6-8 Jacob Barnnabie who transferred from San Diego, placing the Warriors on the NorCal bubble list.
2nd your thought on Blair. I thought Clovis North and DLS were about the level of MC and Campo. DLS doesn't appear to have a high major junior or senior, yet in the end wouldn't overlook them being in the mix. DLS got the best of an athletic Sheldon team CalHiSports gave high marks to.I thought Campo and Modesto Christian looked like the best teams (no surprise given their rankings).

Just goes to show you don’t know much. They didn’t keep score but I hear a dad reviewed the tape and Sheldon beat DLS by 3 and Sheldon played without 2 starters. It was the 3rd win in a row for Sheldon over DLS but as you say DLS got the best of them.2nd your thought on Blair. I thought Clovis North and DLS were about the level of MC and Campo.
