This time we move to the north and the North Bay league team Windsor who went 5-7 last season, making the playoffs and winning one 44-9 over Pinole, but were ruthlessly dumped by CVC 52-6...In league play the Jaguars went 4-3, but this season may see the Windsor team go 5-2, but this is a tall order.
The Jaguars have a 6-3-1 JV team moving up who tied CN 14-14 and lost a wild game to Miramonte 33-26.
The Jv's will support Joey Pignataro, a 235 pound FB and middle line backer, plus Dave Escarcega and Jackson Baughman, so 2nd year coach Tom Kirkpatrick will have his hands full preparing for the 2016 season. Teams to keep an eye on in the North Bay league are Cardinal Newman, Casa Grande and Rancho Cotate
The Schedule
8-26.....Petaluma Home 7:30 P.M.
9-02.....Northgate Away 7 P.M.

The Windsor squad was undisciplined and reckless(both players and coaches) under the previous coaching staff.
I expect them to take a step forward this year under Kirkpatrick as he continues to install his disciplined approach to the game and teaches them the proper way to play ball. This past season Kirkpatrick had to deal with some team turmoil at times (in house) from kids who played under the previous regime.

Cardinal Newman will be the team to beat this year in the NBL. But don't sleep on Rancho as they have some quality players returning and wont miss the graduation of their QB (Medford) and WR (CTY) as much as everyone thinks....
