Woodsinsider. Does Woods leave the 1st string in the entire game, just to run up scores in an effort to blow-out the score board's lights? Still hard to believe they lost to Napa. Muds
No, first team done at half. Had a running clock the entire second half. Number 2's done with 9 minutes left in the third leading 70 - 7. I did see that they left thier 2nd defense in a lot longer than their 2nd team offense.
Muds, I don't know why you find it hard to believe they lost to Napa. Napa is the real deal. Napa is well coached and always has a game plan. Napa took the first read away from Wood's QB, and he couldn't make the adjustments needed. Couple that with a domination in the trenches and the Napa victory over Wood was never in doubt.
This is why most people think Wood is over rated.....They run up the score and pad their stats to show what a potent offense they are against inferior teams.
When they run across a good team such as Napa it's a different story.
Wood does have some good athletes and playmakers, but not as good as the stats say....which will be shown in the playoffs.
Wow,how is Armijo so bad?2,000 plus enrollment,isn't it?Pretty tough games with Naps,Vaca,and Wood,but they should be better theoretically IMO
The MEL is horrible. Napa is real good. Vacaville will beat Wood this weekend. They have had an opportunity to prepare for 2 weeks for their game Friday night. Their pre-season schedule and loss to Napa will have them prepared to knock Wood to #3 in the MEL.
Vacaville's D Line will wear out Wood's O Line. Hopefully next year we cud see Wood's O Line handle more physical teams.
Wood has nothing coming through the pipeline after this year's Seniors graduate.
This is pretty much their only chance to have a good run this year.
Woods had 3 weeks to prepare for Vaca and their loss to Napa probably stings a little more. You must have some better basis to judge this game by!
they've avoided the Jr Bulldogs, Bengals, and Warriors at all costs lol. They have pretty cool uniforms tho.
