Talent (speed) in De La Salle vs Saint Mary’s game

we often get hung up on speed but line play is what really counts, de la salle’s backup linemen would all start for saint mary’s this year it is an unbelievably lopp sided miss match. on both sides of the balls. for that reason i predict de la salle runs the clock on them
De La Salle line is really good. Saint Marys beat them two years ago and last year the score was 24-10. SM actually plays DLS well in relationship to other NorCal teams. SM’s o & d line will surprise you. Game won’t be as bad as you think.

Besides a TON of offers, There will be A LOT of speed on display Friday night. Both 4x1 relay teams made the state final and have multiple members playing.

De La Salle-40.83

Jaden Jefferson-10.40(pr)

Toa Faavae-10.58

Jayden Nicholas-10.85
alternates Emery Speight 10.81 & Duece Jones-Drew 10.87

Saint Mary’s-40.85 & 3rd place finisher in state

Kenneth Moore III-10-75

Osani Gayles-10.76

Should be entertaining to see some of the potential matchups as most of these players play wr & db and will be score line of scrimmage from each other most of the game.

Rocklin @ Folsom

After much thinking... That's the game I chose for this week.

Didn't want to go to El Cerrito, where my Cougs are, like, 3-TD underdogs.

My keys to the game?

1: leave early, Friday traffic can be stupid.
2: Have a pesto pizza at Roma 2 in Rancho Cordova on the way.
3: Enjoy the games.

(Oh, wait, I bet you weren't looking for that kind of keys to the game...)

All I know is watch out for Folsom QB Ryder Lyons. He's dangerous with his arm AND his legs.

Not exactly super-deep insight, but then I am a hoops guy... :)
4. Gold Club Centerfolds after?

Semetri Carr Commits to Cal

Redwood will be good, and probably a real contender, but shoo-in for NCS d2? I wouldn't go quite that far...

Even with TT there, they'll have some real battles in NCS, no matter what division they get placed in.

Just looked at their schedule, 14 games are up at this point. They have Montgomery, SRV and University-SF on their December slate so far. They ain't ducking anyone, for sure.

Will be a team to pay attention to, especially since they had zero seniors last season and went 16-13.
Redwood's best player last year was 6'5" Jake Vazquez who is now playing lacrosse at Notre Dame and he was a senior. But yes, they had a lots of juniors and some sophomores on their varsity who are returning.

Top 5 Leagues

your not quite interpreting things correctly. the way it goes is that when a team from tri river league qualifies for regionals they play in norcal. if bakers field team wins its 5050 which regional they play in. this year the central section champ will come from tri river league because bakers field is way down. their four the tri river champ will be in nor cal. their four tri river is ostensibly a de fact o nor cal league this year.
I guess I wasn't clear enough - Tri-River teams have gone to SoCal too over the history of the RBG games - namely Clovis North.
