Your kid is good, right? Really good? You don't want to brag, but he can do some things on the field that other kids his age won't even try. You played a little ball yourself, and you know the difference.

Make no mistake: There's someone out there for you. He's putting together a team, and he's got a pipeline to the best tournaments. He knows people. He'll have tryouts and he'll tell you what you want to hear. It's expensive, sure, but who can put a price on your kid's future? If he's got a chance to be the best, he needs to play with and against the best, right?

Marlin's shake up this morning...

Under the radar with the Marlins firing of manager Mike Redmond this morning was the dismissal of bench coach Rob Leary. Rob was an early 80's Serra grad who went from CSM to LSU to pro ball. Baseball lifer. Great guy and a really good catcher. Sort of epitomizes the tough Serra player of that era. Hopefully he latches on somewhere. Played Legion Ball for retiring Logan coach John Goulding along with a skinny kid named Bonds. That was my 1st taste of ball in NorCal as a 22 year old rookie coach. Not sure anything has topped those days to be honest. Great memories

Stellar Prep?

I just saw in the 2017 offers that Stellar Preps Addison Gumbs has an offer from Cal. What is going on with their three, 3 star players from last year? QB Burston, ATH Adams, DB C. Gumbs never signed anywhere? I've heard mixed rumors such as the NCAA clearing house not accepting SP transcripts. Does anybody know the real story? The 3 players were all in the rivals state top 100, the only team in Cali. Do we know their football destinations for next year?
