Green Room Training: 1st weeks of June through summer

Green Room Training is on its 9th Off-Season coming this summer. Last summer included players from the Big Ten, Big East, Pac-12, Overseas Professionals (Euroleague), D3 National Player of year, etc. We also allow a group of high school players to join as well. Last years crop have signed scholarships with Bucknell, Lehigh, William Jessup, Whitman college, etc.

The program runs Monday through Friday in Santa Rosa (North Bay). The Skill Training Sessions mostly run in the morning from 10am-12pm (some weeks we have to go in evenings cause of gym availability). The program will run the entire month of June to the second week of July. Then the program takes 3 weeks off for the July open period and NBA summer league. Training resumes then back in August for the first 3 weeks before school starts.

Players can commit for whatever days/weeks they wish, however, please call to see if the player is a viable candidate. This program is only for high school kids and above, with basketball aspirations in college.

We also will have an evening/night training session in Marin for those that cannot commute to Santa Rosa. This is also our most recommended training option for the female athlete.

For those interested in committing, please contact (707) 849-1212, or info@1percentclub.org

Note: The program will most likely start first week of June (Evenings) until graduations are completed. Then will resume in the mornings thereafter.

8th Annual City Championship Tournament at CCSF this wknd

The 72 team field is set for the 8th Annual City Championship Tournament. We have 40 teams in the Elite Division, 16 teams in the Varsity Division and 16 teams in the JV Division. All Divisions will play a single elimination bracket tournament (like the NCAA) but with a 3 game guaranty so after a team loses it will get "Showcase games"

Games will take place in San Francisco at CCSF (756 Ocean Ave), Riordan HS (175 Phelan) and CCSF John Adams Campus (1860 Hayes St.).

CCS Playoff sites?

Last year the open had the first round played at the higher seed home game, second round had three of the four games at Washington Park, and all the Semis and Finals at Muni. This setup was a great way to see a couple good games at one location. Anyone here if this year will be the same set up or are they changing?

The CCS playoff page has TBD all over it.
