CCS Scoreboard - May 4

Branham beat Leigh 2-1: Evan Williams tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts for Brahman. Miles Lu gave up two runs (one earned) with six strikeouts over seven innings. Leigh won the opener 14-3 and retains a two game lead in the Mount Hamilton Athletic League.

Christopher beat Pioneer-San Jose 6-4: Christopher was able to earn a split in gaining control with three runs in the fourth. The loss drops Pioneer into a tie for second in the Mount Hamilton.

Sacred Heart Cathedral beat St. Francis 8-2: Aaron Louis had three RBI and Jair Marta had two RBI for Sacred Heart Cathedral. Franco Moran and Dylan Adelman combined on a four hitter.

NCS Scoreboard - May 4

College Park beat Clayton Valley Charter 3-2: College Park scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh as Charlie Malton had two RBI. Zachary Vasell threw a complete game with four strikeouts. Clayton Valley Charter won the first game 7-0 on Tuesday.

Campolindo beat Acalanes 5-3: Acalanes tied it at three with three runs in the top of the seventh before Campolindo scored two runs in the bottom half of the inning. Campolindo's Phillip Jagard threw five shutout innings in giving up just four hits.

Heritage beat Liberty 1-0: Landon Marchetti threw a complete game four hitter with nine strikeouts for the Patriots. Liberty's Cole Ehrhorn gave up the lone run in the bottom of the seventh on a run scored by Elijah Ward. Nick Goff went 3-for-3 in the loss. Liberty won the series opener 3-0.

Amador Valley beat Foothill-Pleasanton 3-0: Braden Whitworth had a home run and Matthew Foley threw a three hit shutout with seven strikeouts. Foothill's Tyler Gebb threw a complete game with 10 strikeouts.
