I know not all schedules are finalized, but here are the NorCal vs SoCal match ups I found. I always find these match ups compelling as there just aren't a lot of games that feature these. If you know anymore feel free to shout them out. Thanks

8/23 Whitney (Rocklin, CA Sac Joaquin Section) vs Paraclete (Lancaster, CA Southern Section)

8/24 Buchanan (Clovis, CA Central Section) vs Narbonne (Harbor City, CA LA City Section)

8/30 Aptos (Aptos, CA Central Coast Section) vs Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA Southern Section) **All Navy mascot match up: Mariners vs Sailors**

9/6 Capital Christian (Sacramento, CA Sac Joaquin Section) vs Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA Southern Section)

9/20 St Marys (Stockton, CA Sac Joaquin Section) vs Mission Viejo ( MIssion Viejo, CA Southern Section)

9/20 Stellar Prep (Hayward, CA North Coast Section) vs Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA Southern Section)

9/27 Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA Sac Joaquin Section) vs Paraclete (Lancaster, CA Southern Section)

Oh my! I know Stellar Prep is trying to beef up their program and schedule, but this one just doesn't look like a good fit. Stellar lost to CVC 56-0 last season and to a team from San Antonio 58-6 in route to a 4-7 season and 2nd round exit in the NCS D5 playoffs. SM is a Trinity league team that plays a brutal schedule (finished #25 in the state per CalPreps rankings last year) and aside from getting a sure W here, I'm not sure what they expect to gain from this matchup.

This one looks like a Head Scratcher Forsure!... However, SM though is going through a Complete Re-Build... Many of their Top Players have Transferred out (Several to MV) and they have a brand new coach that is from out of State, so not sure what kind of kids he can bring in to replace the transfers....

Based on what has been said on the OC board, SM is expected to be a 1 or 2 win type of team this year... With the Rise of JSerra and now the Ability to Transfer to MV with no problem, SM has taken a real hit... Not sure they will be able to rebound based on the current landscape in So Cal....

So in Reality, this game may not be that big of a stretch for Steller Prep and could end up Surprisingly Competitive!...:)
