Guess Coach Negro needs to build some depth for WR. They already have a good core with Jahlil McClain, Hayden Eligon, and Zacharyus Williams. Plus they also have two really good TE's they can throw too with 5 star Uiagalelei
They also have a top offensive coordinator after plucking Steve Lo from Serra-San Mateo.
Well if you look at all the transfers seems it is already happening.
Really it’s two schools…wouldn’t lump all privates in with Bosco and Mater Dei. And that includes DLS. Would be curious to hear about the details behind this transfer from Paloma.
Details probably pretty simple. Good athlete wants to advance his prospects. His options frankly are stay at Pitt and play in a offense that is a complete head scratcher. Go to DLS play in a program with great coaching but not really WR friendly. Go to Folsom play in a system that is WR friendly but they don’t challenge themselves week after week. Or go show case your skills on a field that’s loaded with scouts in one of the most talent rich leagues and areas in the country. Not hard to figure out really. Honestly I highly doubt he was even recruited more likely than not it was his decision.
yep I agree with that now with DeAndre Moore #8 WR in the nation transferring to Bosco. Israel will mostly be a reserve player this year
Yeah but a backup at SJB gets more looks than the stud starters at most programs. Scouts are routinely strolling the sidelines at games and practice at these programs and getting info from coaches etc…..

right but Pitt has 5 WRs with schollies 2 commited to the Pac 12……. with a top 3 in the Nation QB how much more exposure u need? Especially when ur brother just had 106 catches in the SEC, u are who u are at this point after 47 flag football summer camps, sitting on the bench isn’t going to make u a more known commodity

I wonder what the end game is behind transfers like this and how often people actually hit their goal. For example, Raleek Brown likely hit his goal going to Mater Dei. Others who hop around to a couple of schools probably haven't
Did he really though? Raleek simply fell into the glits and glamour of the whole thing which is why he was trying to transfer out to Orem after his freshman year. The USC offer was given to him way before he stepped foot at MD.
It’s also part of the reason why Najee is so beloved. He really repped Antioch to the fullest and never once entertained the travel ball HS programs.
Then finish early and enroll spring of ur senior year of high school and compete against your actual college teammates before your freshman year problem solved
Fair enough. I was using him as an example of a guy who had success. But yes, his successes so far aren't enitrely becuase of going to MD or even MD at all.

Najee also bet on himself in college and it paid off big time. Many on this board said he should leave his JR year. That decision would have been costly and dumb, as he wasn’t viewed a first rounder and probably drops into 3rd or later. He bet on himself, played his way into the first and landed with a team and city that will love him. when his second contract comes around it would be smart to take less and stay in Pitt many haven’t and many careers have not ended up what they should have been. (Bell would be a great example)
Not really, at SJB he is basically in a college program competing against college talent everyday of his SR year. He figures he is solving the problem way earlier than you are suggesting. So with early enrollment he will have basically 2 years high level college prep ball before freshman season.
i didnt say or imply anything about Pitt having more eyes then SJB so dont make shit up about what i said……..I said there is plenty of eyes on Pitt as is, Polk is a well known commodity since his freshman year , there is plenty of guys on his team with lots of offers, on his flag football team, etc its not like he’s going to SJB at this point to get on the radar………yeah im sure he wants be part of the Mercenary school for the whole college football vibe which is fine its legal and all good…….and im not a hater i dont really care about the Open at this point its a bunch of amazing mercenaries pitted against each other, i definitely enjoy watching that as a fan with the insane quality on those teams its very impressive tbh

1. Pitt with 7-10 D1 recruits with 2 high level national recruits can have a lot of college coaches eyes on it and if your a D1 level player you will get plenty of attention
2. it is also true that SJB has more exposure and eyes on them because they are the top 3 team in the nation year in and year out with 800 D1 prospects on its roster

Louisville connection at least with Aaron Williams from Cen10. I'm not sure about the other transfer Eric Denham. I'm skeptical about Rueben Owens transferring to Bosco. I understand he is also a Louisville commit but I'm not seeing this reported anywhere.
Bosco definitley trying to finish #1 this year, good for the program and Coach Negro. Now if only you guys could recruit up there. Getting real tired of seeing that veer offense and undersized linemen.
