My son said the best teams they played this year were SRJC, Sierra and West Valley…. SRJC should win that Bracket…

Good Game!…. He said SRJC had the best pitching they saw the 3 starters were all 90+ mph all day…. Sierra the best lineup…. They looked like a bunch of weightlifters playing Baseball…. Even the little dudes were big!…. 🤣

SRJC beat Sierra yesterday 7-5 and lost today 15-9. Tomorrow winner take all at noon. Not sure what pitching SR will have left?

Not a great day for the Bearcubs. Orioles manager Brandon Hyde (Montgomery/SRJC/LB State) and Field Coordinator Tim Cossins (Santa Rosa/SRJC/Oklahoma) were both relieved of their duties today.

Sierra beats SRJC onto final 4, Congrats.

Along with West Valley who beat Fresno City College 8-5. Mt. San Antonio swept Glendale yesterday and Palomar leads Cyrpess 5-4 in 8th of their deciding game today.

Well your son was correct. WV and Sierra headed to the Final 4. Cypress ended up coming back and beating Palomar to also reach the Final 4 from the South.

4 hits for SRJC, they were pretty much shut down.

Game 2 was the key. Their staff had been their strength all year, but they got knocked around pretty hard by Sierra. The old, “Good hitting beats good pitching” 🤣
