A top NorCal QB (2022) transfers to Mater Dei

Nice pick up for MD after Moss headed back to Alemany. Good luck to Green after suffering
the injury.

Yeah Moss transferred back to finish school and graduate early.

If you count Modesto Christian, this is the fourth school for Beau. Very talented QB though.

wait Moss xferred to MD never played a game yet and already xferred back to Alemany?
MD doesnt allow students to graduate in December. So with no season happening Moss made a business decision to go back to Alemany to graduate early and get to SC for spring ball.

I think you can graduate early from Mater Dei.

For Moss, it doesn’t make sense to take classes at Mater Dei online if you aren’t playing football

Yes you can graduate early from MD. It’s how Barkley was able to early enroll at SC, Young at Bama etc.

To Graduate Early from MD you must have completed the Religious studies curriculum otherwise you cannot graduate early.... This is not a problem for kids that have been there at least 2 years....

In 2018 MD took a lot of Backlash because 3 players who transferred there for their SR Year from Public Schools All transferred back to their public schools after the Fall Semester so they could Graduate Early because MD would not allow them to die to the RS requirement.... They even announced their College Commitments from the Public Schools they transferred back to....

Moss was a little different type of Football Rental because he came from a Catholic School so MD was going to Allow him to Graduate Early after attending only 1 Semester and playing Football for MD..... And you are correct, with no Football there was no point in Moss taking on line classes at MD....

Moss was likely going to be ruled ineligible at MD anyway because his personal QB Coach is a Coach at MD and the he CIF didn’t like that.... The most interesting part of this though has to do with Coach Rollo... When that last issue With the transfers happened he and their AD said that Md would not take those type of transfers, However, as soon as MD needs a QB, in comes Moss for a 1 semester rental....

And out the door goes MD’s Very Highly Respected and Regarded AD.... Looks like Rollo won that Battle.... 🤣🤣

I think we are both right. You can graduate early, but it is tough to do so when you transfer in later

Yes for MD as what @OC89 pointed out with the religion requirement it’s tough unless you came from a catholic school prior. Bryce Young coming from Cat High was able or do that because it was a prior catholic school same as Moss.

the guy above explained for me

Ricks was actually a Different Issue because I am pretty sure he was at MD as a Freshman.... It had something to do with On Line Classes he took for Summer School that MD would not Accept to allow him to graduate early....
