Acalanes beats Riordan in Foundation game

Ummmmm....excuse me but it was my understanding that foundation games are supposed to be IN SECTION games only.

Is that still the rule?
Nope…

Both participants must be CIF members. Out-of-State play is not allowed. The NCS
member school must share revenue with the Section when it hosts a Foundation Game. A
CIF school from another Section is not expected to share gate revenue with NCS for the game that it hosts.

Reactions: Streak One
Couple thoughts on the game after watching replay:

33-30 Acalanes at the half and the lead stretched to 41-30. Riordan worked their way back and led 49-47 with about 2:30 left. Acalanes scored final 10.

Riordan outscored Acalanes by 16 points on 2 point shots. Acalanes outscored Riordan by 18 on 3 point shots.

Radcliffe is out for the year for Riordan, which has some transfers that will be eligible in January.

Acalanes didn’t have Lacanlale but not sure of the reason.
