The Bulldogs have been plagued with penalties for the past several years that have cost them wins and so far the coaching staff has done little to correct this problem.....For the 2016 season, the Bulldogs have 20 coming back which includes a big line and a solid running and passing game. There are three possible QB's to pick from and all have good arms and one lacks size.....Alhambra has a girl for the season that will boot PAT's and handle kickoff.s
A look at the schedule should temper the team for the new Foothill conference of the DAL which should be a easy task...maybe.....Berean Christian, College Park and North Gate should be the challenges, but Mt. Diablo and Ygnacio Valley have the speed which could create problems for the Bulldog defense.
The preseason schedule has Acalanes, who seems to have Alhambra's number, San Marin who the Bulldogs lost too in the playoffs two years ago in which Alhambra set a record for fumbles and defense follies in what looked like doing every thing possible to loose the game in pouring rain. And a serious challenge against Miramonte.
