All-BVAL Team

I think David is certainly a player. I think people gloss over his name because he is short, but like the information you gave, he is very tough to block

I hope David and Damon both get to show what they can do at the next level. Come on 1AA teams, give these two a chance!

Looks like the BVAL blew it again. Four 1st team running backs? Wow! So 4 of 6 starting running backs are 1st team? The Heritage defensive lineman is good. But how does a player from a team that has won two league games in two years earn mvp? Harmon from Freedom or Ramirez should have been the guy for that. I would even say Ramirez is the best defender in the NCS. His performances against Cal and Antioch this year were unbelievable.

C'mon Paloma...you know there's been horsetrading with many All-League nominations and placement within for a l o n g time. Doesn't make it right, just unfair. Tenured coaches often get the nod due to "respect" while the new guys have to sit on their hands, some for years. The good news is it follows the 80-20 rule. The majority of picks are legit.

Well what the heck was Galli doing letting Heritage get the best defensive player in the league. hahaha. He has way more time in the league then the terrible Heritage head coach. Pittsburg lost 44-42 to Antioch and Ramirez seemed like he had a hundred tackles in that game to go with his interception. Heritage was losing 44-0 in the 1st quarter against Antioch. Kyle Harmon had a great game against Antioch too.

Last year was worse though when there were eight first team defensive backs. So at least they got that right.

Personally I think an MVP coming from a bad team speaks volumes, I'm just saying.........
