Yes, it's happening. For all of you geezers who remember the old CAL, the forerunner of today's WCAL, next month's Super Bowl should warm the cockles of your hearts. When the Rams and the Patriots meet, it will be a pair of premier papal persons leading their teams: Goff and Brady respectively. They hail from Marin Catholic and Serra, two members of the old CAL back in the day before BART, smartphones, YouTube and ESPN. Someone text the Pope.

Ok. Can play shoulda coulda woulda all day. Saints and Brees didn’t score enough period. Refs miss calls all the time it’s part of the game. The blown call didn’t end the game. Like the Tuck rule game the call didn’t end it. There was still game to be played and the Saints and Brees like the Raiders in tuck rule game didn’t get it done. Props to the Rams they battled back and won.
