American Canyon enters the 2016 season with a team loaded with Seniors....Last year, American Canyon finished the season at 4-1 in league play, but were tied with Benicia and Vanden at 4-1 also.....For the 2015 season, AC went 5-6 while Vanden went 7-4 and Benicia went 8-4...
American Canyon lost their first four preseason games, but managed to win four league games while dropping their own league loss to Benicia 35-28.....but nailed Vanden 31-20. but entered the playoff \'s against Wood who they lost to earlier 70-33 only to go down again 59-33

How will Benicia be this year?

Benicia shud be battling for the top as usual. Last year they lost to Oakdale, Concord, MACK and Vanden. This year they play Granada, Pinole Valley, Maria Carrillo, Armijo (BYE Game for starters?) and Concord again. AC shud be there as well. Last year they lost to Wood, Inderkum, Benicia, Paradise Valley, Pinole Valley. They did beat Vanden last year. This year they play Woodland, Vintage, Inderkum, Wood and Armijo (?).....

How will Benicia be this year?

Hard to say, they lost a couple of key defenders. They are usually vulnerable on the line, but have some decent skill kids and a nice offensive scheme that keeps them competitive.They will find a way to contend in that league, especially as long as the Vallejo schools are down.
