These unfortunate setbacks for the team started last summer and continue through this 2017/2018 basketball season.
True. They lost a few players to other sports, and a few others who were possible additions never materialized. But at least they can say they have a couple players who have had significant high school impacts. And they're both moving on to most likely make a significant college D1 impact. Then there are a couple other good players who have gotten scholarships in other sports or are still putting in work towards that goal.
And we can't forget they made it all the way to the state championship game last season. Not every high school kid has enjoyed that level of achievement. Congratulations to them ! Hopefully Ashley heals close to 100 % sooner than later.
