Bellarmine Administration accused of intentionally throwing this season away

An email of a letter from a group of parents, alumni and current players that was sent to the President, Principle and AD has been circulating throughout the Bellarmine community recently.
It has stated that many players are actively looking to transfer as a result of the administration deliberately neglecting the football program and actively sabotaging this season. The letter also states the school has already hired a new dean with extensive football experience behind the current football staffs back and has forbidden him of coaching this season even as the current staff is having trouble filling vacant coaching positions.

Baseball and Soccer won titles.

Make it make sense. Bellarmine alumni puts on an awesome event for its annual home season opener and m sure other fundraisers…Why bite the hands that feeds you?

I find it hard to believe that the school administration or coaching staff of such a prestigious institution would purposely sabotage their football program. However, I can believe that students, parents and alumni might get that idea after experiencing the worst season in their long history.

I would be more inclined to believe the new coaching staff and turmoil caused by changes in leadership is the biggest factor. And if the HC was fundamentally changing the program, this could lead to a deeper disruptive year or two.

I doubt noone wants to see the BCP FB program implode. But I can see there might be transfers by seriously minded FB parents or players this coming year.

As an insider to many of the above allegations the administration has been trying to help figure out how to correct the ship. One of the problems is the head football coach spends most of his time in Arizona and not creating a program. It is not the administrations responsibility to go out and find players, that is a coaches responsibility. If someone provided any evidence that the coaches "players" are not being admitted into Bellarmine that would atleast provide a little truth in these allegations. In regards to the "dean" being hired and being TOLD he cannot coach football that again sounds like talk and not backed up with any real truth. Bellarmine is not the same school it was 15 years ago, the demographics have changed and football which requires the highest amount of athletes has been effected heavily by this change. Don't get me wrong, the Administration has some work to do but to say they are sabotaging the program is rediculous.

Wasn’t it the Bells’ Admin that made several attempts to hire Diaz-Infante after he passed initially?

Has anyone else heard they want to join the Mount Hamilton for Football? Probably a 2nd or 3rd place team. I think this could help a re-build versus an unsafe slaughter fest. 5-6 years we might see a better program.
