Over the past four months, there have been real life issues that have affected all of us to differing degrees. Those issues have also had a major impact on the high school sports landscape too.
To that end, I have relaxed the rules that don’t allow for discussion of politics and current events. I thought and still think it is an important talk to have but in the past few days, I have been bothered that in nearly every thread, the original topic is dragged back to a discussion on right practices during this time.
At this point and time, I believe those who have wanted to state their case on the matter have done so. This isn't a forum for continuing back and forth on it. With that said, we are going back to our original rules of keeping the discussion on prep sports. As news warrants it, updates on policy will be allowed, but anything beyond that will be removed.
