Feels like five is too few for Open. Don't like the double bye into the semis

State kind of overrides NCS as Dougherty is placed over Dublin despite Dublin beating them and being in the NCS Open (To be fair, I think Dougherty should be rated higher)

D1 will be a battle. Could make a good case for six different teams to win it.

So the 3 Section winners get byes going into next Saturday. Interesting that St. Joe's was put in SoCal and Buchanan in NorCal. Buchanan or possibly Inderkum could have been placed in the Open.
 
Imagine being Harvard-Westlake…..you went 30-2 in arguably the best conference in all of HS Basketball. You lose one game in the Sectionals to Notre Dame (SO)…..and your reward is a 1st round road game against St John Bosco!

For comparison sakes…..I don’t see any of the Open teams in Norcal keeping it within 10 of Riordan……
